Years ago we finished the kitchen at this home and were happy to be invited back for another improvement project. They intended to stay in their home, thus aging in place. The next project they wanted to tackle was their Master Bath. It had never been remodeled since the home was built in the 1980s and the design reflected the era. It had a very small shower and a large whirlpool tub. The vanity lighting and plumbing fixtures were outdated. We reimagined the space, creating a footprint to allow for a large walk-in shower, double vanity and extra cabinet storage in lieu of a linen closet. The updated shower with both standard and hand=held shower head, a seating bench, and a functional built-in niche is the homeowners’ favorite feature of their upgraded space.
