The homeowner is an artist. She had a specific request to have a lighted niche in the island to showcase artwork. In addition, she wanted a separate baking area away from the main kitchen to accommodate a family member with a strong interest in baking. The cabinetry in the eating area is designed for the budding baker, as well as additional serving space for entertaining. The many contemporary touches are truly timeless. This isn’t modern, it is sleek and clean lined with artistic touches, courtesy of the homeowner.
