The homeowners enjoy baking so the addition of an island was a perfect workspace and storage for all their baking needs. The interior has roll out shelves and a mixer lift for ease of using a weighty small appliance.

This Naperville kitchen remodel encompassed much of the first-floor living space in this stately north side residence. The home had been upgraded during the years with two additions. Now it was the kitchen’s turn. The kitchen did not match the stature of this elegant home. The clients wanted a spacious kitchen where the couple could comfortably cook together and entertain more people. We relocated a doorway to the adjacent dining room to allow more wall space for cabinetry and extended the existing peninsula into an area bordering the open concept eating area and family room. The results are certainly beautiful and quite transformative for the space. Additionally, we provided wall-to-wall custom library cabinets in the home office and built-ins around the fireplace along with a new mantle, in the kitchen’s dining space. The powder room was updated as well.
