OPEN AND BRIGHT IN JOLIET

Project Details

Categories:

This bright and beautiful home in northern Joliet is a tri-level. Originally, the kitchen and dining areas were separated by a wall. Although each of the spaces were roomy on their own, by removing the wall that divided them and creating one large space, it has had amazing results.

The homeowners wanted to change the color palette from stained oak to painted cabinetry. White cabinets were added to the highest point before the ceiling angles to the peak. The perimeter cabinets are Countryside Cabinets from Wisconsin; painted maple wood. The island is also painted maple in onyx. All counters are a light quartz. It is a classic color palette to last. The new flooring and metal balusters on the stairs update the space, while tying in wood tones throughout the home.
