Project Description

This beautiful Brookdale kitchen has been updated with custom Amish cabinetry in a rich stain and glazing detail.  Originally the layout of the kitchen had a peninsula that was removed in favor of an island; and a desk which has been eliminated to provide a more useful area. The soffits were removed and cabinetry now reaches the ceiling, providing added storage.  New hardwood floors were installed in the kitchen and dining room along with new tile in the adjacent mudroom.  The mudroom originally housed the washer and dryer which were relocated to the basement in favor of built in locker cabinets, also in the Amish custom cabinetry.  A half wall between the kitchen and family room was removed to increase the openness of the space.
