Overall
Custom Amish cabinets in painted Maple, Swiss Creme, brighten the kitchen. The light taupe accent tile is a perfect complement to the Caesarstone in Wild Rice.
Zone
With the upper cabinets over the peninsula removed, the natural light from the large windows in the dinette comes through to brighten entire kitchen.
Fridge
The refrigerator populates the same location post remodel as prior. However, the look is now completely custom by adding fridge panels and cabinetry that extends across the top of the refrigerator. The customized vertical storage above is a great use of the space. The service area to the right of the refrigerator is great for serving or a welcoming spot for morning coffee.
CookArea
The cooking area has everything needed and close by for easy meal preparation. Drawer storage, abundant upper cabinets and a not-so-lazy susan puts everything within reach.

This homeowner had a clean and cheerful design on her mind when she decided to remodel her kitchen. The footprint isn’t abundantly different, but the overall look sure is. We removed upper cabinets that originally blocked the view to the eating area and adjacent family room. Once the soffits were removed and the remainder of the upper cabinets were installed to ceiling height, it was clear no storage was lost in the update but better organized and more beautiful. We replaced dark cabinets and counter tops with custom Amish cabinetry in Swiss Creme and quartz counters in a medium taupe. New wood floors were installed using a natural stain.
