Beautiful new maple cabinetry in a pecan stain and glaze make up the perimeter cabinets. The custom hood contrasts in cherry wood with an espresso stain. The existing island was refaced in cherry wood and espresso stain to complement the hood design.

The elevation of the custom hood was designed with the homeowners height in mind and it was installed a bit higher for the home's tall chef. The hood matches the island and beverage center/coffee bar. The backsplash is a classic subway pattern in an updated glass tile.

This beverage center/serving area replaced an underutilized desk. The large cabinet below houses the garbage/recycling center for the space. It's location is perfect as it bridges a passway to the living and dining room. This space was finished in the same materials as the island and custom hood.

The refrigerator is built in and surrounded with large floor to ceiling cabinetry. The lower pantry cabinets are outfitted with roll out shelves for accessible and abundant storage.

A beautiful, grand, open kitchen is truly the center of this home. The kitchen is large and open, adjacent to the family room and flows nicely with a living room and dining room at the front of the home. The perimeter cabinets were replaced with new maple cabinetry. The custom hood, refaced island and new beverage area contrast nicely in cherry wood with an espresso glaze. The existing granite in this kitchen was an uncommon and interesting one that the customers wanted to retain. So the refaced island kept its Green Marinace granite, and we utilized remnant pieces from the rest of the kitchen to outfit the new beverage area with the same granite. A contrasting black granite was used on the perimeter to balance the design.
