Overall
Soffits were removed to allow the cabinetry to rise to the ceiling. The white and grey color palette with soft robin's egg blue to accent round out this very stylish kitchen.
FridgeWall
It's clear this wall of the kitchen is full of storage. The counter area acts a serving area and is complete with a beverage fridge. Where is it? The two middle drawers of the counter area are indeed refrigerator drawers!
PantryStorage
You can never go wrong with floor to ceiling storage! The cabinet above the refrigerator has vertical partitions for organization ease. The roll outs in the pantry cabinet puts everything at ones fingertips.
Island
The island is multipurpose as a prep area and seating. It houses a microwave, spice rollout and garbage/recycling center. All that AND a beautiful piece of cabinetry in contrasting grey with a brushed black glaze. The top of the island also contrasts with the perimeter cabinetry. It is topped with MSI Cashmere Carrara quartz.
DrawerFridge
Perfect placement for a beverage refrigerator - in drawers! This service area is adjacent to the family room and is perfect for entertaining. Ample storage rounds out the space with roll outs and additional drawers for accessories. The perimeter cabinetry is topped with ColorQuartz in Pewter.

What was a highly traditional styled kitchen, got a makeover to reflect the more contemporary or transitional style of the homeowners. Medium toned cabinets were replaced in favor of white perimeter cabinetry and a contrasting grey island. All the cabinetry is part of our Amish custom line in a shaker style. The hardware, lighting and faucet are a brushed nickel finish to match the stainless steel appliances. The recessed lighting already existed, but two cans were removed to allow for pendant lighting over the island.
