The original kitchen had oak cabinetry, a peninsula, bland counters and the ever dreaded SOFFITS! It was stuck in a time that even the wonderful natural light in this kitchen couldn’t brighten. The homeowners chose to lighten up their space dramatically with white cabinetry. They nixed the existing peninsula in favor of an island which beautifully contrasts the space. Another contrast is the different counter tops used. On the perimeter of the room, MSI Stellar Gray quartz was used. It is grey with flecks of grey to add dimension, along with a bit of sparkle here and there. The island is topped with MSI quartz as well, in Romano White, which offers more movement yet complements with white and grey tones. Bright and beautiful!
