This black distressed island works perfectly as a work space, serving area and storage.

Combine classic colors, vintage elements and out pops a very stylish kitchen. The size of the kitchen did not change in this remodel but the function did. The island replaces a peninsula and the white stacked cabinetry replaces a builder grade medium oak cabinet that stopped short of the ceiling leaving a lot of dead space to collect dust. The kitchen is part of an open concept with the dining area and family room. The white perimeter cabinets are Countryside Cabinetry and the contrasting island is by R.D. Henry. All counters are New Azul Aran granite.
