The expansive space is balanced in color and contrast. The bar, which joins the family room and kitchen, is finished in Amish custom cabinetry in a grey stained finish and topped with Vadara Quartz. These same materials are repeated in the kitchen island. The perimeter cabinets are a crisp white with black counters.

Black and white, a classic color combination, sets off this kitchen beautifully. The glass cabinet doors add interest and showcases dinner and serveware. The Rohl 'Shaws Original' apron sink is a hearty addition to the kitchen, weighing in at 165lbs of fireclay perfection and achieving the exact design the homeowners were after.

The grey stained island is home to seating, storage and microwave. The island is topped with Vadara Quartz in Calacatta Blanco and extends beyond the island cabinetry to allow for seating. The floor to ceiling storage surrounds the double wall oven opposite the desk area.

This is an inspired area of the kitchen. An existing desk was removed and a modernized desk area and coffee bar took it's place. Plenty of storage above the desk, and below the counters.
Bar
Function and aesthetic all in one place. And entertaining? It's a breeze with the beverage refrigerator, locking drawers for adult libations and perfectly beautiful serveware storage. The floating shelves leaves an area for decor as it bridges the gap between the kitchen and family rooms.

This expansive space is perfect for entertaining as well as day to day living . The perimeter cabinets in the kitchen, along with the desk nook and coffee area are all Amish custom cabinetry with a white painted finish. The counters are topped with Black Pearl granite. The island and bar, also Amish custom, are finished in a grey stain and topped with Vadara Quartz in Calacatta Blanco, from Vadara’s Paris Collection.
The wood floors throughout much of the first level were existing but refinished in a rich medium stain.
